About Public Rights Association Odisha
Dedicated to Protecting Public Rights and Uplifting the Downtrodden Since 2023
Who We Are
Founded on 1st November 2023, Public Rights Association Odisha (PRA Odisha) is a registered non-profit trust based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. We are committed to the protection of public rights of Indian citizens and the upliftment of the downtrodden, socially backward, and victims of social harassment.
Community Focus
We prioritize the needs of underprivileged and marginalized communities throughout Odisha, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are protected. Our grassroots approach involves direct engagement with socially backward groups, victims of social harassment, and economically disadvantaged families. We work to identify their specific needs and provide targeted support, legal assistance, and advocacy to uplift them from cycles of poverty and social exclusion.
Awareness Advocacy
Through education, outreach programs, and community engagement, we strive to raise awareness about social justice, human rights, and public rights issues. Our awareness initiatives cover critical topics including HIV/AIDS prevention, prevention of child labour and bonded labour, eradication of beggary, women's rights, and child protection. We organize seminars, workshops, and counselling sessions to empower communities with knowledge about their rights and available government welfare schemes.
