About Public Rights Association Odisha

Founded in November 2023, Public Rights Association Odisha (PRA Odisha) is a registered non-profit trust based in Bhubaneswar, dedicated to the protection of public rights and the upliftment of the downtrodden across India. Our motivation stems from a deep-seated commitment to social justice, driven by the desire to create a more equitable and inclusive society. We work tirelessly to restore harmony, empower women, children, and youth, and ensure that every citizen has access to their fundamental rights.

Registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, our trust operates from our headquarters at Old Town Shree Lingaraj, Bhubaneswar, serving communities throughout Khorda district and beyond.

Educational Support

We provide scholarships, books, stipends, and counseling to enhance educational access for children and youth from economically disadvantaged families. Our programs support elementary, secondary, and higher education, including technical and medical training, without any discrimination based on caste, creed, race, or sex.

Health Services & Awareness

Our health initiatives focus on organizing awareness programs for HIV/AIDS, preventive care, and medical aid camps for marginalized populations. We work to improve the overall well-being of vulnerable communities through health education and access to essential services.

Legal Aid & Rights Protection

We offer legal assistance, advocacy services, and rights awareness programs to protect vulnerable individuals. Our team fights against social injustices, child labour, bonded labour, beggary, and all forms of exploitation, ensuring that every citizen’s public rights are upheld.

Vocational & Skill Training

We establish and run skill development training centres, vocational institutes, and boarding houses to empower the younger generation. Our programs provide scientific, technical, and vocational education to develop self-confidence, competence, and employability at national and international levels.

Women & Youth Empowerment

We work for the future development of women, children, and youth through dedicated programs focusing on women’s rights, youth leadership, and child protection. Our initiatives include counselling, guidance, and mentorship to build a stronger, more harmonious society.
